ABOUT ME

Julie is a fitness professional who has been active all her life - she’s been on her high school basketball team, taken classes and worked at a kickboxing school, and paddled for a local dragon boat team.


What started as a return to an active lifestyle after an injury, her work and learning with a trainer turned into a passion to share that knowledge with others. After 12 years and counting, her training knowledge has grown and evolved to help the beginner client get strong to people with injuries and musculoskeletal conditions become pain free.


She has experience in strength training, fat loss, corrective exercise, and flexibility and mobility work. She’s worked with populations from young to old, keeping them strong and healthy as they age.


Her innovative training has helped people with scoliosis, while specialized programs for dragon boaters helped them stay ready to paddle on and off season.  She’s even adapted a program for a community girls’ basketball team.

She also provides muscle recalibration, an active stretching specialty in which the mind connects/reconnects with non-activated muscles.

"Julie is a healer. I came to her for personal training when my lower back was hurting. I could not sit without pain. Strength training can help with lower back pain. After assessing my conditions, Julie started to ramp me up with some gentle core exercises. Within a month, I felt significantly better in my lower back, in three months my lower back pain was gone.
